I bought a BMW X5 4.8, mint with 68,000kms and one owner. The car was advertised as really lows KMs, perfect with premium package features.
Since bringing the car back to Parksville it had problems immediately. It would not go 200kms without breaking down, full DSC AWD fault. Towed home twice. They eventually did replace the alternator after a month of fighting them. It took them until, mid January to fix a car I bought Dec 2nd and reported having issues shortly after.
I have had the car back now for 300kms and it is still a mess. Massive vibration at idle that only comes around in stop and go traffic. I had felt it on delivery but I thought it was the v8 exhaust or the bass of the stereo. Nope it is the engine mounts. Also, the tires are way out of alignment and one of tire is almost bald on the outer edge. In addition the navigation never worked and I have not been given a solution. So far the only solution they are offering is half of the engine mounts if I bring the car to Vancouver from Parksville.
No thanks, not doing business here every again and I suggest you check the quality of all their LOW KM cars as mine was not as advertised. If you do have issue remember you have the Vehicle Sales Authority of BC to help you out.
